Scotland manager Steve Clarke has admitted that after Scott McTominay's impressive form for Manchester United, he may need to find a spot for him in midfield.
The 24-year-old has been playing as part of a three man defence for his country; but following his brace during Manchester United's 6-2 demolition of Leeds, his national team boss wants to play him further forward.
Clarke who successfully lead Scotland to the next summer's European Championships; told Sky Sports that he feels he's 'wasting' McTominay in defence.
'Scott's been great, I'm probably wasting him playing at centre half, but he's so adaptable and positive, he's got a confidence about him which I think rubs off on everybody around him.
