Scotland were left ruing a controversial decision to rule out Scott McTominay's free-kick as Steve Clarke's side suffered a 2-0 defeat to Spain in Seville.
McTominay thought he had given Scotland the lead in the Euro 2024 qualifier in a match where a draw would have been enough to seal their place in the tournament.
The midfielder curled a superb free-kick beyond Spain goalkeeper Unai Simon from close to the byline in the second half.
McTominay's strike provoked celebrations from Scotland's players and fans as Euro 2024 qualifier appeared to draw closer.
A VAR review led to the goal being ruled out, with the decision initially thought to have been due to a foul from Jack Hendry on Simon.
