Scott McTominay has stressed the team is more important than any individual trophies after being named Manchester United's Player of the Month for the second time this season.

After collecting our award in September, the Scotland international enjoyed an impressive October, culminating in an outstanding performance during the Reds' 2-1 victory at Chelsea.

He beat off competition from Marcus Rashford and Daniel James to earn the accolade but is more concerned with targeting glory in the Emirates FA Cup, Carabao Cup and Europa League.

“It's pleasing to win a couple of individual trophies, it’s a nice feeling,” he told us at the Aon Training Complex.

“But it’s difficult when we’ve had a lot of games. It’s a very, very busy period and three or four of the lads could have easily won it as well.
