Manchester United legend Paul Scholes is pleased to see Ruud van Nistelrooy take up a coaching role with the Reds.
The Dutchman, who linked up superbly with Scholesy in their playing days, has become one of Erik ten Hag's assistants, alongside Rene Hake.
With such a rich history with the Reds, Ruud has already spoken to us about the reception he is certain to receive at Old Trafford on the Premier League's opening night, against Fulham, and Scholes feels it is important to have such links in the current set-up.
Darren Fletcher's position has changed to first-team coach and the Scot's continued involvement is also something that gets the thumbs up from his former colleague in the engine room at Old Trafford.
