Rio Ferdinand has urged Manchester United to sign a midfielder before the end of the trasnfer window and claimed Saul Niguez would be a 'perfect fit' while Declan Rice would be a 'massive addition'.
United have already splashed out £73million on forward Jadon Sancho and £42m on defender Raphael Varane, but Ferdinand thinks Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still needs more depth in his midfield.
Atletico Madrid star Niguez and Hammers' man Rice have both been linked with a move to Old Trafford in the past and Ferdinand insisted both players would strengthen his former side.
