Ryan Giggs has been appointed as the new manager of the Welsh national team, taking his first step into the world of management.
The Manchester United legend has dipped his toes into the water of coaching and punditry since his retirement, but had not been given any permanent job.
The country's governing body have now confirmed Giggs' appointment as manager with a Twitter video, in which he holds a Wales shirt aloft.
Giggs was one of four candidates interviewed last Thursday to succeed now-Sunderland manager Chris Coleman, the others being his former Wales team-mate Craig Bellamy, Mark Bowen — who has just left Stoke — and assistant boss Osain Roberts.
