The forward will miss the WSL encounter with the Gunners and will undergo surgery in the coming days.
“Alessia pulled up in training with a hamstring, so it’s a longer-term injury,”
the boss told MUTV.
“We’re upset for her, she’s been doing so well, but unfortunately it’s part of the game. We’ll get her fit; we’ll get her well and get her back as soon as possible.”
Everyone at Manchester United would like to wish Alessia a speedy recovery.
Alessia joined the Reds last summer from Brighton & Hove Albion and has played four league games for Stoney’s side, scoring three goals in the process.
