Ruben Amorim expects Noussair Mazraoui and Victor Lindelof to be available for Manchester United’s Premier League clash with Wolves on Sunday after both players left Old Trafford at half-time of the Europa League quarter-final against Lyon.
Mazraoui played the first half of Thursday’s second leg before leaving the stadium with United 2-0 ahead, while Lindelof was on the bench for an incredible match that finished 5-4.
It’s understood both players had to address urgent family issues which were unrelated, but Amorim indicated that the outcome was positive and Mazraoui – who was replaced by Luke Shaw against Lyon – and Lindelof will be available to face Wolves at Old Trafford.
