Ruben Amorim has clarified his comments about Christian Eriksen's heart condition after confirming that the Dane will return to the Manchester United squad at Everton on Saturday.
Eriksen missed last weekend's defeat at Tottenham due to illness, and Amorim raised concerns afterwards by saying United had to be careful that a high temperature could affect the player's heart-rate in light of his cardiac arrest on the pitch in June 2021.
Eriksen put out a statement on social media during the week to ease fears over his health, and Amorim admitted on Friday that his lack of English was partly to blame for the mix-up.
