Ruben Amorim admits there is a danger of him being sacked if he fails to halt Manchester United’s dramatic slump.
Amorim has lost half of his 10 games and seen United drop to 14th place in the Premier League table since the club paid Sporting Lisbon £9.2million to appoint him as their head coach.
After United axed sporting director Dan Ashworth just 159 days into the job – and Sporting fired Amorim’s replacement Joao Pereira on Christmas Day – the 39-year-old admitted that he isn’t bulletproof either.
‘I know the business that I'm in,’ said Amorim.
