Ronald Araujo 'REJECTS Barcelona's opening contract offer' as his Nou Camp future remains uncertain... with 'Chelsea and Man United both interested in bringing the Uruguayan defender to the Premier League'

Ronald Araujo has reportedly rejected Barcelona's opening contract offer as Chelsea and Manchester United prepare to take advantage.

Araujo, 22, has developed into one of Barcelona's top defenders since earning a promotion from the club's B team in 2019, overtaking Clement Lenglet and Samuel Umtiti to become Xavi's top choice to partner Gerard Pique.

However, the Uruguayan's future is unclear with his contract expiring in the summer of 2023 and both parties no closer to agreeing terms on a new deal.
