Robin van Persie has been handed a two-match suspension for his controversial goal celebration during Fenerbahce's victory over Besiktas.
The former Arsenal striker slid on his knees in front of Besiktas midfielder, Oguzhan Ozyakup, after the two had clashed over Van Persie's role in the sending off of Dusko Tosic earlier in the Turkish Cup tie.
Tosic had been shown a straight red card after appearing to shove Van Persie to the ground following an innocuous-looking clash in the penalty area.
The former Manchester United striker was originally given a three-match ban from the Turkish Football Federation for what it described as 'an insult to fans of the opposing team.
