Rio Ferdinand has praised Marc Guehi, saying that the Crystal Palace defender steps up 'at every level'.
Guehi, who has attracted interest from Arsenal, started in England's 1-1 draw with Ukraine last weekend.
The centre-back gave a good account of himself and drew praise from Ferdinand.
With John Stones out injured, Guehi was selected to start alongside Harry Maguire at the heart of the defence.
There has been much debate regarding Maguire's continued inclusion in the England side despite the fact that he isn't a regular starter for Manchester United.
