Rio Ferdinand believes Manchester United's season of upheaval has hindered Jadon Sancho's settling in period to life at Old Trafford.
United swooped for the England attacker in a £73million move from German giants Borussia Dortmund last summer, where he had been one of their star players.
But this season at United he has scored just once in the Premier League and three times overall in all competitions.
'I think sometimes adaptation to the league, he's come from Germany, a very different style, the pace, he came from a team with identity, understanding of how to play, he was finely tuned into that,' Ferdinand said on BT Sport in the aftermath of United's 1-1 draw with Burnley on Tuesday night.
