Rio Ferdinand has advised former Man United team-mate Paul Pogba to speak out after he was hit with a four-year doping ban last week.
The 30-year-old tested positive for DHEA, a banned substance that boosts testosterone, after featuring in the opening game of this season against Udinese on August 20.
Pogba has vowed to take the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, with the 2018 World Cup winner facing a fight to overturn the sanction that threatens his playing career.
Ferdinand sought to offer Pogba advice having been through his own doping case back in 2003.
