Richard Keys has aimed another dig at Xabi Alonso's decision to stay at Bayer Leverkusen, but claiming that Liverpool have 'dodged a bullet' by not having the Spaniard as their next boss.
Alonso announced on Friday his intention to stay on at the Bundesliga club, who look set to win their first-ever league title this season.
The former midfielder was linked with posts at Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Liverpool, as well possible vacancies at Manchester United and Real Madrid.
However, after deciding to stay with Leverkusen, he was labelled a 'bottle job' by TV presenter Keys, and speaking on beIN SPORTS on Sunday, he continued to lay into Alonso and his decision.
