The two clubs who previously triggered Ruben Amorim's release clause have been revealed.

Following the departure of Erik ten Hag, United have moved to appoint Sporting Lisbon boss Amorim.

Amorim will become United head coach on November 11, subject to work visa requirements.

Other major clubs have previously attempted to secure the services of the 39-year-old.

Amorim, who previously managed Braga, had been highly sought after after developing a reputation as one of Europe's standout young coaches.

As reported by A Bola, West Ham and Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr previously triggered Amorim's release clause.
