The Reds defender believes United should not be travelling to the Nou Camp next week seeking to overturn a 1-0 deficit in a bid to get to the Champions League semi-finals.
United lost to a Luke Shaw own goal after a Luis Suarez header was deflected in off the left back in the 12th minute of the home tie.
“Right now, I am just angry we didn’t get a better result,” said Lindelof afterwards. “We played against a really good team. At times, we played well but, when you play against teams like this, you can’t concede goals like that.
