Ravel Morrison leaves Lazio to join Mexican side Atlas as former Manchester United and West Ham prospect bids to resurrect career

Former Manchester United and West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison has signed for Mexico side Atlas from Lazio on a one-year loan deal.

The 24-year-old who was once tipped for a stellar career under Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford, has been unable to reproduce the form he is capable of at a succession of clubs since leaving Manchester in 2012.

The former England U-21 player had loan spells at Birmingham City, Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff City while at West Ham who he joined after The Red Devils.
