Didier Deschamps has named his 25-man squad for the World Cup, and has included Manchester United's Raphael Varane despite the defender currently being sidelined, as France look to retain the trophy they won four years ago in Russia.
Varane limped out of United's draw with Chelsea last month, but Deschamps has still picked him for Qatar.
Liverpool's Ibrahima Konate has also made the cut, and William Saliba has been rewarded for his fine start to the season at Arsenal with a call-up to the national team.
