Bruno’s contract extension was revealed earlier today (Friday) and ensures our no.18 will remain at the Theatre of Dreams until at least the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
Rangnick, who addressed sections of the media in the second part of his pre-match briefing earlier today, has not shied away from emphasising just how much of a big part the midfielder's commitment is in terms of our long-term bid to succeed as a club.
"This is another example of a player I would suppose is of interest from other clubs in Europe," began the 63-year-old.
"By him deciding to stay here and sign a new long-term contract here is something he wouldn’t have done if he didn't believe in the long-term future of this club.
