Jose Mourinho will discover who his Manchester United team will face in the Europa League group stage this season when the draw commences in Monaco at 12:00 BST on Friday.
The Reds are set to be among the top seeds in the competition after finishing fifth in the Premier League last campaign and due to the club’s high UEFA club coefficient rating.
A total of 48 teams will be split into 12 groups of four on Friday afternoon with one team taken from each pot of seeds. Teams from the same country cannot meet until the round of 16, which means United will not be drawn against English rivals and recent opponents Southampton.
