The battle to finish in the Premier League's top four this season is as intense as it's ever been, with just six points splitting five teams behind runaway leaders Chelsea.
Yet despite all this jostling for position and the pressure to qualify for the Champions League, the top six clubs spent a grand total of just £40,000 in the January transfer window.
While the 20 top-flight club spent £218.3million on January acquisitions, only a tiny proportion of this could be attributed to the elite half-dozen.

The £40,000 in question was spent by Arsenal on 20-year-old unknown Cohen Bramall, plucked from the non-league obscurity of Northern League Premier Division side Hednesford Town.
