Phil Jones could feature in his first Champions League match since 2019 after being included in Manchester United's squad for the knockout stages.
The centre back has been added to the Red Devils' 25-man squad for the business end of the competition, which resumes with the last 16 beginning next week. United travel to Atletico Madrid for the first leg of their tie on February 23.
Jones has endured an injury-plagued few years at Old Trafford and has only made two appearances for the club all season - a 1-0 home defeat by Wolves in the Premier League on January and their FA Cup fourth-round exit at home to Middlesbrough on Friday night.
