Paul Scholes blasts Bruno Fernandes claiming 'he has to take responsibility' after the Man United captain gave away two 'cheap free-kicks' that lead to Galatasaray's opening goals

Paul Scholes has claimed that Bruno Fernandes must 'take responsibility' after Manchester United captain gave away a 'stupid foul' that allowed Hakim Ziyech to open the scoring for Galatasaray.

The Turkish side came back from going two goals down in Wednesday night's match, with United needing a win to keep their hopes of advancing to the knockout stages alive.

It looked like they could do just that, after Alejandro Garnacho and Fernandes fired two goals early on in the first half. But United gave away their two-goal cushion, with Fernandes conceding a free-kick on the edge of the Untied penalty area that allowed Ziyech to pull a goal back before half-time.
