Paul Scholes believes Man United starlet Facundo Pellistri could benefit goal-shy striker Wout Weghorst... as he insists the teenager is more likely to 'go down the outside and get crosses in' compared to Antony

Paul Scholes believes Manchester United loanee Wout Weghorst could benefit from youngster Facundo Pellistri being awarded more game time.

The 21-year-old was handed his first start for the club during their 1-0 victory over Real Betis in the second-leg of their last-16 tie.

Pellistri was rewarded following a bright display off the bench during the first-leg at Old Trafford last week, with United ultimately winning the tie 5-1 on aggregate.

The Uruguayan international played a part in Wout Weghorst scoring his first ever goal at Old Trafford last week, as it was his cross that led to the Dutchman scoring after Scott McTominay's initial effort was saved.
