Paul Pogba won't become world's best player if he is 'involved in too many gimmicks off the field', warns Wigan manager Warren Joyce

Wigan manager Warren Joyce has warned Paul Pogba that he won't become the best player in the world if he is 'involved in too many gimmicks' off the field.

Joyce, who takes his side to face Manchester United in the FA Cup on Sunday, will be hoping to keep the world's most expensive player quiet at Old Trafford as Wigan look to cause an upset and progress to the fifth round.

The Championship boss managed Pogba for United's reserves, a role he held for eight years before joining the Latics at the DW Stadium.
