It was very much a case of old friends reunited as David de Gea welcomed back Paul Pogba following his world record switch to Manchester United.
In the transfer saga of the summer, Pogba returned to Old Trafford for a fee of £100m from Juventus, who he had been with since departing in 2012.
Taking to his Instagram account, the Spain international shared a picture along with the following message: ' Welcome home @paulpogba #PogbaPower.'
Having arrived during the Frenchman's final season with the club, De Gea initially struggled to adapt, but is now regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world and his continued presence, along with the signing of Pogba, mean Jose Mourinho's side are in formidable shape ahead of their Premier League opener with Bournemouth.
