Paul Pogba: 'Life in Manchester was difficult following bomb atrocity... that is not Islam, everyone knows that'

Devout Muslim Paul Pogba has revealed he found life in Manchester difficult following the bomb atrocity which took the lives off 22 people in the city last month.

Pogba started for Manchester United in the Europa League final in Copenhagen, two days after bomber Salman Abedi detonated a device in the foyer of the Manchester Arena following an Ariana Grande concert.

The France international, who joined United from Juventus in a world record £90million transfer last summer, says Abedi’s action had nothing to do with religion.

Speaking in the July/August issue of Esquire magazine, Pogba said: "It’s a very difficult moment but you cannot give up.
