Paul Ince says the captain's armband at Manchester United is weighing heavily on Harry Maguire and that they should give it to Scott McTominay and NOT Cristiano Ronaldo as the role is about 'setting an example'

Former Manchester United captain Paul Ince says Ralf Rangnick should hand the armband to Scott McTominay over Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo has been given the role as captain for the Red Devil's clash with Wolves on Monday night - due to Harry Maguire missing the game due to injury.

Maguire has struggled for form all season, with some suggesting that interim boss Rangnick should give Ronaldo the armband permanently.

However, Ince feels that McTominay would be the better choice over the Portuguese superstar.
