Ole provides an update on Rashford injury

The striker had to be withdrawn during Sunday’s Premier League defeat against West Ham United, with the boss stating after the game that he feared Marcus could be sidelined for a number of weeks with the problem.

However, speaking to MUTV ahead of Wednesday’s Carabao Cup clash with Rochdale, Ole gave some more optimistic news on our no.10.

“Marcus, no he’s recovering,” Ole told MUTV. “He’s not very, very bad. We hope to see him before the international break.”

After Wednesday’s game with Rochdale, the Reds have three matches before the pause in domestic action, starting with the meeting with Arsenal in the Premier League on Monday, followed by our first away fixture of this year’s Europa League group stage against AZ Alkmaar and then a trip to Newcastle United on 6 October.
