Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hints 'top striker' Joe Hugill could be in line for Manchester United debut soon after scoring four goals in 6-3 drubbing against Liverpool U23s

All eyes may have been on Amad Diallo but it could be his Under 23 team-mate Joe Hugill who is next in line for a first-team Manchester United debut.

The 17-year-old grabbed the headlines on Saturday by scoring four goals as United's U23s thumped bitter rivals Liverpool 6-3 on their own patch.

That took the striker's tally to 14 goals overall this season - having scored eight times for the U23s and a further six for the U18s. The teenager's stats are even more impressive when you consider he has achieved the feat in just 17 games, only 10 of which have been as a starter.
