Old Trafford fell silent to remember the extraordinary life of Denis Law, ahead of kick-off against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Piper Terry Carr led the two teams out and there was a sombre tone as we all paid tribute to the brilliant Scottish striker.
Fans young and old, and those in the away end, showed their respect for a giant of a footballer, who won the Ballon d'Or in 1964.
As the crowd fell hush, announcer Alan Keegan read a poignant poem.
