Nike pay tribute to Man United record scorer Rooney at Hotel Football

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney finally broke Sir Bobby Charlton's goal-scoring record with a late equaliser at Stoke City on Saturday.

Rooney's superb free kick deep into added time was his 250th for the club, while it also saw him overtake Alan Shearer's record for the most scored away from home in Premier League history, moving him onto 88.

Nike, one of Rooney's sponsors, placed a huge message on the side of Hotel Football -- owned by Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville -- which is directly next door to Old Trafford.

Rooney's named was spelt out with 250 "o" to signify every goal he has scored for the club.
