Nemanja Matic has urged Manchester United fans to keep supporting the team despite record underperformance on the pitch.
Assuming they beat Crystal Palace on the final day of the Premier League season, the Red Devils will secure a total of just 61 points - three less than their previous lowest total of 64 in 2013-14.
But Matic insisted the players are 'doing their best' and admitted success is a long way down the road for United.
He said: 'We've had a couple of difficult seasons but I just want the fans to know, at the training ground, we're doing our best.
