The Manchester United Supporters Trust (MUST) have suggested that the Glazer family are making decisions that focus on their own priorities rather than those of the club's supporters.
MUST were responding after Qatari Sheikh Jassim withdrew his offer for United on Saturday night.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS group have agreed to buy 25 per cent of United. Such a deal would see the Glazers remain at the club but would be seen as the first step towards a gradual takeover.
The statement from MUST read: 'It would be wildly optimistic to think the Glazers are acting in the interests of supporters or are making ownership decisions which don't centre on their own priorities.
