Michael Carrick's Testimonial is now only a few weeks away (Sunday 4th June, kick-off 4pm), and a raft of new players have today been confirmed for each of the two teams.
Ex-United players Ji Sung Park, Michael Silvestre, Owen Hargreaves, Louis Saha and Darren Fletcher have been confirmed in the Man Utd '08 XI squad, to play alongside other previously announced club legends such as Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Gary Neville.
The opposition, Michael Carrick’s All-Star XI, has had some additional players confirmed too. Phil Neville will be making a return to Old Trafford, joined by Robbie Keane, Eidur Gudjohnsen, Shay Given, Míchel Salgado, Éric Abidal, Damien Duff and Gaizka Mendieta.
