Manchester United assistant coach Mike Phelan has said the Red Devils can recapture their glory days if interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains at Old Trafford next term, stating the club can win "everything" under the Norwegian.
Solskjaer's assistant was Sir Alex Ferguson's most trusted adviser behind the scenes at Carrington, and Phelan has declared United's squad is good enough to achieve major success if the 45-year-old is appointed full-time manager in the summer.
Speaking ahead of United's visit to Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday, Phelan explained his outlook and philosophy, per David McDonnell of the Mirror:

"Our aim is to try and do even better, to try and push the players even further.
