Michael Carrick hardly had to think when Jose Mourinho offered him a coaching role at Manchester United.
The 36-year-old is set to call time on an illustrious career at Old Trafford at the end of the season and unlike so many before him, Carrick will not have much time to rest.
In an interview with The Times, Carrick explained how it was a 'no-brainer' to take up Mourinho's offer.
'I didn't even have to think about it,' Carrick said.
