Manchester United legends were beat 3-1 by Liverpool Legends at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon after a brace from Mark Gonzalez won the game for the visitors.
The game, labelled the 'Legends of the North', was organised to raise funds for the Manchester United Foundation with a second leg to be played at Anfield next week.
With the likes of Jaap Stam, Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher in the line-ups, there were high expectations for the charity fixture - which the game did well to meet.

Though there were no goals in the first-half, there was still much to cheer about.
