Marcus Rashford is continuing to earn £315,000-a-week salary during his loan at Aston Villa, but it appears the Manchester United star will have to take a hit on his lucrative sponsorship with Nike.
The seven-year deal signed in 2021 made Rashford one of the elite footballers signed to the US sportswear giant, joining a stable that includes Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne.
Confidential understands that a Nike client like Rashford can earn in excess of £1.5million-a-year including bonuses, but that figure can drop to as £50,000 at the lowest end of the scale.
