Ex-Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa will not be the new manager of Athletic Bilbao following the results of the club's presidential elections.
Iñaki Arechabaleta, the candidate who had selected the Argentine as his choice of coach, finished second to Jon Urriate who received 47.7 per cent of the vote.
Urriate has pledged to appoint former Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde, who was considered by Manchester United for an interim role last season before they opted for Ralf Rangnick.

The third-place candidate, Ricardo Barkala, asked Mauricio Pochettino to be his coaching nominee but was snubbed by the former PSG boss and therefore had also selected Valverde.
