Manchester United will pay all of their 3,000 casual workers if Premier League games are cancelled or played behind closed doors for the remainder of the season.
It was announced on Thursday that the suspension of all matches in the Premier League would be pushed back until at least April 30.
With a rapidly evolving situation, United have confirmed that if games are required to be played behind closed doors or cannot go ahead, they will pay their matchday and non-matchday staff who have worked for the club over the last three months - which will cost the club £1million.
