Our young Reds went in front shortly before the interval as Harry Amass's low cross into the area was steered home by Albion defender Ruairi McConville.
Despite United's best efforts in the second half, it was McConville himself who made amends at the right end, smashing home the visitors equaliser with 72 minutes played.
Amass and Ethan Wheatley went close to winning the encounter during the final stages but it remained level and the points were therefore shared.
During a relatively quiet first period, Amass was proving a handful for Brighton to deal with and his shot with just 15 minutes played resulted in our first real opening of the game.
