Manchester United fans have been offered the prize of a lifetime – the chance to play a game of five-a-side with the club’s famous Class of 92.
The stunning game is up for grabs at Manchester's Star Ball this Saturday. Ryan Giggs and Peter Reid are among the football personalities who have lent their support to the charity event at the Hilton Deansgate hotel which helps the DM Thomas Foundation and SMA Trust for disadvantaged and ill children.
A signed, crystal-encrusted portrait of Pele will also be among the auction prizes on offer.
Former England international Reid, who will also guest for the Class of 92 in the five-a-side prize up for auction, is a patron for the SMA Trust which aids research into spinal muscular atrophy, the largest genetic killer of infants and toddlers in this country.
