Manchester United's board reportedly vetoed Erik ten Hag's plans to sign Chelsea forward Hakim Ziyech during the summer transfer window.
United spent a massive £214million - the most they have ever splashed out in a summer window - as Ten Hag set about transforming the squad.
The loan signing of Martin Dubravka on deadline day completed the club's business following the arrivals of Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro and Antony.
However, according to the Manchester Evening News, one player who Ten Hag was not allowed to bring in was Ziyech.
