Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana ranks joint-second in the Premier League for most expected goals saved, despite coming under intense pressure amid a series of difficult performances.
Onana was backed by United manager Erik ten Hag on Friday ahead of weekend trip to Newcastle and doubled down on his support of the club's No.1.
However, some believe the Cameroonian should be dropped after individual errors in United's midweek draw against Galatasaray left their Champions League ambitions in tatters.
But, there are reasons to be optimistic with Onana not only joint-top of the Premier League for the most clean sheets, but also impressing in the amount of expected goals saved.
