After an erratic start to the season, Manchester United are already plotting to bring in reinforcements in the January window and they could return for a target they missed out on last summer.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele is still of interest to Old Trafford chiefs and they could make a bid to sign him at the start of 2021.
However, the Spanish publication say that United would only try and land the 23-year-old on a loan deal until the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
That proved to be a stumbling block in recent negotiations between the two clubs as Barcelona, who are still counting the cost of the coronavirus pandemic on the club, were only interested in a sale.
