Manchester United will not ask players to defer wages or take pay cuts despite the impending loss of over £20million in matchday income.
The Premier League giants face losing out on as much as £21.3m if the season is finished behind closed doors due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to The Telegraph.
They report that United will absorb any loss in matchday income within existing revenue streams, instead of hitting their stars in the pocket.

There are a minimum of five home games remaining at Old Trafford in 2019-20, with the potential for more as they hold a 5-0 advantage over LASK in the last-16 of the Europa League.
