Manchester United warn fans about their behaviour after receiving a complaint that 'discriminatory language' was directed at a Wolves player due to their height during the side's defeat to Bruno Lage's men at Old Trafford

Manchester United have sent an email to some of their supporters after being informed that a Wolves player was verbally abused at Old Trafford due to his height, according to reports.

The incident took place during the Red Devils' 1-0 loss against Wolves earlier this month, when Joao Moutinho netted a late winner for the visitors.

It is understood that the complaint was filed after the game, meaning that specific individuals were not identified at the time.
